This post is a continuation of the last post on using all the pressure treated scraps from my deck build. Please excuse the inevitable mess that is this post, as it was done completely on my phone during all day science Olympiad chaperone duty for my little nerd nugget, Aidan.
The Stranger Bench
(Made from decking scraps and 6×6 post cut-offs.)
A bench for 2-3 stranger butts waiting uncomfortably together for life to happen or a bus to come.
The Steltman Chair
(made from scrap 2×4’s)
This is a scrappy little version of the midcentury Steltman Chair designed by Gerrit Rietveld for uppity jewelry store customers. This chair is for posh butts who raise their pinkies whilst drinking tea and sitting perfectly erect.
The Buddha Chair
(made from leftover 2x stock from the awesome Leighanne’s renovation and my deck railing scraps)
This chair is for wannabe buddha butts to sit cross legged with their eyes closed listening to the highway near my house imagining that it is the river of life.
(made from the crate that packaged my bandsaw, the curved cutoffs from my coffee table, and a little bit of my tears)
This chair is for the antisocial butt that likes to slouch while hiding under a hoodie with an auditory blockade of headphones.
Thanks to all you butts for visiting!
